In her first appointment since quitting her father’s media empire three months ago, Elisabeth Murdoch has joined the board of magazine publisher Future Network.
The British publishing firm declared that Murdoch had been appointed a non-executive director. The new board member declared “I am delighted to be joining such a dynamic media business”.
The announcement coincided with the announcement of a first half pre-tax loss of £13.5 million, which ceo Greg Ingham blamed on investment in new magazine and internet launches.
