Campbell Soup Company has reacted to a drop in fourth quarter profits by introducing a new line of soups.

The Ready to Serve Classics range consists of new versions of some of the company’s most popular condensed soups, redesigned as ready-to-serve convenience products. They have a pop-top lid, do not require water and can be microwaved.

The move is part of a range of measures taken by Campbell since the announcement of a 51% drop in profits last week. The company has also reintroduced its 1930s slogan, M’m! M’m! Good! in a bid to halt the slide.
