The initials ‘A&L’ are to be consigned to history, according to Barrie Hedge, chairman of San Francisco shop McCann-Erickson/A&L.
Due to be phased-out over the next six months, the initials stand for Anderson & Lembke, the agency network absorbed into McCann-Erickson Worldwide in 1988. Staff were told of the rebranding a month back.
The agency’s anchor client is Microsoft.
