Anglo-Caledonian brewing giant Scottish Courage is reviewing its media planning and buying account for the fist time since the mid-90s, and is thought to have compiled a shortlist of contenders for its account, worth an estimated £45 million annually.

Four or more shops have been listed for the final shootout, although it is uncertain if incumbent MediaVest is among them.

Among the SC brands included in the review are Beck's, Foster's, Holsten, John Smith's, Kronenbourg and Miller.
