Fresh from his triumph at last week’s British Open Golf Championship, thereby achieving the Grand Slam, golfing titan Tiger Woods has forced General Motors to reschedule its network TV commercials featuring Woods as Buick's brand spokesman.

The ads, which back a special promotion offering 45 days in a golf dream house, can't be shot as the champ refuses to cross the picket line in the long-running radio and TV strike by commercial actors.

A revamped campaign by McCann-Erickson Worldwide, Troy, Michigan, is expected to go on-air later this month.
