A new online travel operation covering the Asia-Pacific region will launch later this year, backed by nine airlines – Cathay Pacific, China Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Royal Brunei and Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand, Ansett Australia and Asiana.

The alliance, which seeks additional participants, will target various language groups, offering travellers a one stop shop for flights, hotel rooms, rental cars as well as customised information. The venture will also open its portal to travel agencies and other travel-related companies enabling them to offer the service under their own brands.
