Chris Ingram, the driving force behind the creation and development of international media buying and marketing network Tempus Group, was last night crowned ‘London Entrepreneur of the Year’.

Tempus, [formerly known as CIA Group but hastily rebranded on the eve of its expansion into the USA], boasts a market capitalisation of £340 million and fifty-three offices in 29 countries.

The awards are sponsored by Ernst & Young with support from Citibank Private Banking, Vodafone, The Times and crown jewellers Asprey & Garrard. The judging panel was chaired by former Tory cabinet minister David Mellor. Other regional finals will be held over the next three weeks.
