TOKYO: Toyota Motor Company has unveiled its global sales figures for last year which show a rise of 6% over 2006. The Japanese automaking giant sold 9.37 million vehicles worldwide.
The company notched 7.1m in vehicles sales overseas during 2007, a 10% rise from the previous year, but experienced a 4% slide in domestic sales of 2.26m.
Toyota expects sales in Japan to be unchanged in 2008, while overseas sales should rise 7%.
