PARIS: Maurice Lévy's ongoing shopping spectacular continues with Publicis Groupe's acquisition of leading Italian media independent, the Milan-headquartered Muraglia Calzolari & Associates.
The agency, whose clientele includes Heineken, Parmalat and Vodafone, will be rebranded MC&A MediaVest and operate as a unit of Starcom MediaVest Italy. It will remain a discrete entity.
On completion of the acquisition, MC&A chief executive Marco Muraglia (46) will assume the same role at SMVI.
