LONDON: Omnicom Media Group UK has appointed IPC Media executive Philippa Brown to a newly created ceo role. The umbrella agency business includes the UK arms of OMD, MG OMD, OMD Digital, PHD and Opera with combined annual billings of over £1 billion ($2bn; €1.46bn).
Prior to her 10-year tenure at IPC, Brown worked at several UK ad shops, including Bartle Bogle Hegarty.
Comments OMG EMEA ceo Colin Gottlieb, to whom Brown will report: "We wanted someone who has considerable experience of the media craft, a proven track record of running a large complex business and who has the drive and enthusiasm to inspire."
