LONDON: Saatchi & Saatchi has appointed Richard Hytner (46) to the new post of worldwide deputy-chairman, responsible for redefining its strategy and planning function and widening the scope of the network's offering.
London-based Hytner was previously chairman/ceo of the agency's EMEA operations. He assumes the strategy leadership mantle from Kevin Dundas, who is quitting the Publicis-owned network after seven years.
Hytner's EMEA duties pass to Jim O'Mahony (51), ceo for Asia, Australia and Latin America. O'Mahony. The duo continue to report to Saatchi global ceo Kevin Roberts.
