Nicole Kane – Director, Global Media, McDonald's Corporation
Nicole oversees global partnerships, accountability, and agency relationships. An omnichannel strategist inspired by data, she has worked at global media agencies such as OMD and Starcom across CPG, QSR, Retail, Technology, and Travel. In 2014, she forecasted the role data and analytics would play transforming the marketing landscape and went to Civis Analytics to further hone her people-based marketing capabilities. She's been at McDonald's for two years and is excited to help McDonald's make delicious feel good moments easy for everyone.
Morag Blazey – Chief Executive Officer - UK, Ebiquity
Morag spent more than 20 years in agencies such as CDP and BBH, joining PHD as Group Account Director. She was promoted to the board in 1995, became Managing Director in 1999 and CEO in 2006. Morag led the agency to its accolade of Agency of The Year in three trade magazines in 2005. She left PHD in 2008, initially freelancing, before joining Ebiquity, leading the Advertising Monitoring division in May 2009. She was appointed as Chief Executive of Ebiquity's UK office in 2012, and to the PLC board in 2016. In autumn 2016 Morag was promoted to lead the Market Intelligence Practice globally.
Youmna Borghol – Head of Data, Choueiri Group
Youmna completed her PhD in computer science and holds eight years of experience in marketing analytics with a solid background in data analysis, predictive modelling and econometrics. She started her career at National ICT Australia focusing on analytics and predictive models for social media. She then moved to Mediacom Australia as the Director of Business Science where she specialised in data planning and statistical analysis. Today, she heads the Data Science department at Choueiri Group; Youmna oversees all aspects of the data team and data-related product solutions.
Luke Brown – CEO, co-owner, Affinity
Luke has divided his career equally between the disciplines of integrated communications, media and technology over the past 20+ years. Following a decade with some of the industry’s top multinational agencies, he uncovered a need for a very different type of agency. He started AFFINITY with data analysis at its core to make it a data-driven media, CX and creative agency. Along the way he's garnered an impressive list of awards from Effies to Cannes, and is an outspoken contributor in the quest for integrity and transparency in marketing through published opinion and regular speaking commitments both on the local and global stage.
Paula Fernandez – Global Head of Data Tools & Analytics, Kinetic Worldwide
Twenty years ago, Paula created the first automated media planning solution gathering inventory data from GPS and electronic handhelds. Today, she is at the forefront of providing the data and technology readiness that brands require in order to contextually connect with audiences on the move. As part of her role, Paula is responsible for developing the cross-channel, data-led planning and buying systems that allow Kinetic teams to optimise targeting, media and campaign management in all sorts of environments and locations. Previously, Paula worked at IPG Mediabrands where she served as Managing Director of Initiative Spain, overseeing the agency’s Madrid and Barcelona offices.
Arun Kumar – Chief Data & Marketing Technology Officer, IPG Mediabrands; Global President, Cadreon
Arun continues to lead the industry in transforming the digital landscape, leveraging data and analytics to give both IPG Mediabrands and the Interpublic Group an edge over its competitors. To sustain its success in the space, and push the boundaries across its capabilities, Arun was appointed IPG Mediabrands' first-ever Chief Data & Marketing Technology Officer in March 2017, overseeing Mediabrands Insights and technologies divisions. Additionally, Arun operates as Cadreon's Global President, pushing data-driven marketing culture via the ad tech agency’s suite of proprietary tools and platforms.
Shubu Mitra – Founder and CEO, Agile Measurement
Shubu is Founder and CEO of Agile Measurement which helps marketers measure, monitor and manage their online and offline marketing, advertising and promotion efforts using agile data-driven approaches. Formerly, he was Director of Connection Effectiveness & Productivity at The Coca-Cola Company. He led Coca-Cola’s global effort to improve the effectiveness of brand marketing communications and increase media productivity. Besides assessing the impact of communication investments on the business, he led Integrated Marketing Communication measurement initiatives and development, implementation and support for tools and processes for improved media allocation, better communication planning and real time program management.
Sorin Patilinet – Global Center of Expertise for Media, Mars
Sorin leads the Global Center of Expertise for Advertising and Media at Mars Incorporated. Combining his experience in FMCG brand management with an engineering master's degree in telecommunication, Sorin is now responsible for Mars's global media research agenda with focus on robust behavioral measurements and strategic insights that travel across geographies. He is passionate about analytics and data storytelling and, if he could choose any career to start right now, he would become an airline pilot.
Nancy Rowe – Digital Strategy and Insight Lead, SapientRazorfish
Nancy is a trilingual, outgoing and optimistic strategic thinker. She's experienced at deriving insight from both data and human understanding and has 19 years' digital agency and client side experience, working across a variety of sectors. She is customer obsessed and entrepreneurial in terms of process, innovation and output. She is highly regarded internationally as an insight and design research thought-leader and mentor for junior strategy and insight team members. A commercially savvy, natural energy-giver, she is also responsible for growing SapientRazorfish teams and offerings.
Mike Solomon – Managing Director, OMD Chicago
Mike leads the US McDonald's business as well as provides leadership across OMD on a number of projects and initiatives. Prior to this role, Mike was the Midwest Regional Director of the Digital team charged with overseeing overall digital strategy and innovation, including the integration of new media opportunities and emerging platforms for clients in the Midwest. Mike's team has also been recognised for many award winning media campaigns for a number of brands and social media initiatives.
Rick Watrall – Chief Analytics Officer, Horizon Media
Rick leads the agency's advanced marketing analytics team to turn data into actionable information and insights that can both inform and support the agency's recommendations to clients. He leads the agency's data scientists in designing and recommending the appropriate analytical approach across various client and internal needs. Rick focuses on enhancing analytics solutions, inventing new avenues for data creation, transforming the agency's proprietary data platforms and mining new sources and streams of data. He leads Horizon's team of analysts, data scientists and statisticians to inform and support the agency’s strategy, channel planning and activation solutions.
