As part of its collaboration to build a comprehensive digital ecosystem, Sam's Club and Rockfish partnered to build the company's mobile channels with the goal of engaging club members beyond the in-store and desktop shopping experience.

Building upon the successful November 2011 launch of iPad, iPhone and Android apps, the Sam's Club Mobile 3.0 update, which came a year after initial launch, seeks to build upon features that consumers were already raving about while adding improved functionality, innovative feature sets and an easier shopping experience to ultimately drive results.

The target was Sam's Club members who browse and shop via mobile devices. The Sam's Club Mobile application extends the Sam's Club experience beyond store walls to wherever consumers are, bringing them a personalized experience for their on-the-go lives. This virtual club provides consumers the opportunity to shop online and access exclusive deals and member-only content.
