Speakers ranging from tech giants like Google and Facebook, to ad agency networks like WPP, all offered their own updates on how various digital media touchpoints are evolving – and how advertisers will need to respond to this evolution.

Real-time marketing on social media

Two of the world's largest social media platforms, Facebook and Twitter, presented at Ad Week Europe. From Facebook, whose user numbers passed the 1bn mark last year, was Paul Adams, the company's global head of brand design.
