The Twin Towers Fund – set up to help the families of emergency service workers killed in last week’s attacks on the World Trade Center – will receive a $3 million donation from marketing services giant Omnicom Group.

“All who witnessed Tuesday’s tragic events honour the courage, selflessness and dedication of those who went into harm’s way to help others. Omnicom Group would like to do its part to help the families of these heroic individuals,” said president/ceo John Wren.

“Our contribution is in addition to the many individual contributions of time, effort, and financial support already made by our employees to the ongoing rescue and relief efforts in New York City.”
