Roose & Partners, UK agency of record for Mitsubishi Motors since 1999, has been fired following a strategic revamp by the client.

Harmonisation within Britain's car industry is the reason given by Mitsubishi’s UK managing director Jim Tyrel: "We have moved closer to our partners in Europe, and by adopting their marketing and advertising themes, it will mean we can spend our budgets on buying more advertising space and less on creative work."

From now on, British media will carry a pan-European campaign created by Aatsu, the agency used by the Japanese parent.
