The New York offices of Interpublic siblings Lowe Lintas & Partners and McCann-Erickson Worldwide have picked up the accounts for six brands belonging to hotel chain Marriott International.

The six marques involved, worth an estimated $39 million in advertising last year, are Courtyard, TownPlace Suites, Fairfield Inn, Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites and Marriott Hotels, Resorts & Suites.

Lowe will handle creative duties aimed at the leisure market, while McCann will be responsible for ads for business travel. Both agencies have worked for Marriott before, Lowe handling all duties for the Courtyard brand and McCann looking after creative work outside the US.

Siegelgate of New York, which previously worked on the Marriott brand, retains the Renaissance Hotels business.
