Universal McCann is to launch a Russian media agency, and has drafted Greg Paine from its Polish office to manage it.
Its media operations in Russia currently consist of a department in parent network McCann-Erickson’s Moscow bureau, but this is to be replaced with a stand-alone Universal McCann office.
Paine, presently managing director of the Polish unit, predicted that the new shop would be launched in the near future. His successor in Poland as from January will be Zygmunt Brzozowski, the current deputy managing director.
