LONDON: John O'Keeffe (pictured), executive creative director of UK advertising agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty, has quit after eighteen years to take the role of worldwide creative director at WPP Group.

He will be replaced at BBH by current creative director Nick Gill, whose colleague, Rosie Arnold, has been elevated to the post of deputy executive creative director.

During his stint at BBH - in which Publicis Groupe has a 49% stake - O'Keeffe won several awards for work on Audi and Levi's.

Comments group ceo Simon Sherwood: "This is an excellent opportunity for John. We are equally excited about our new creative leadership team of Nick Gill and Rosie Arnold, both great leaders and masters of their craft."
