TORONTO: Still on its heady roll after wining the Wal-Mart account [WARC News: 27-Oct-06], the newly-wed DraftFCB agency in Canada has followed the time-honored principle of melding and makeovers - out with the old, in with the new.

Accompanied by the usual eulogies, exit Draft Toronto president Peter Coish; enter former FCB Canada president Paul Mead as prez of the merged agency's Canadian operations.

The ritual encomium was delivered by DraftFCB's regional president David Florence who intoned: "Under [Paul's] leadership, we will surely build upon our already strong foundation in Canada."

Pause.

"I'd also like to thank Peter for building a great Draft operation that will serve as the cornerstone for the new DraftFCB Toronto."
