LONDON - Brewing giant SABMiller, headquartered in London and Johannesburg, has appointed former Cadbury Schweppes president of global strategy Nick Fell as group marketing director. He takes up the post on August 1.

Based in the UK, Fell shoulders responsibility for developing the company's portfolio of international brands, which include Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Pilsner Urquell and Miller Genuine Draft.

He replaces Mark Sherrington who leaves at the end of this month "to resume his other business interests".
