LUXEMBOURG - Web-based phone and video service Skype, on Friday said it now serves over 100 million registered users.
Last September Skype was acquired by online auctioneer eBay, at which time the company's subscriber base was a mere 54 million.
The leap reflects not only Skype's improved technology and new services, but also the benefit of cross-selling to eBay's massive customer base.
