LONDON - The household products giant has signed a £200 million (€167m; £115m) four-year agreement with the UK's largest commercial broadcaster ITV.
Unilever will spot-advertise brands such as Persil, Flora, Lynx and Dove across ITV's analogue and digital channels, in addition to mobile marketing, interactive television and sponsorship.
The deal, however, is significantly below the £320m Unilever paid to Carlton Communications and Granada in 2002 before their merger to form ITV in 2004.
