Mobile and social – and the blurring of the lines between the two – were the big themes at ad:tech San Francisco 2012. Several speakers from major brands revealed how they were using the two to engage customers and boost sales.
Offerings showcased at the event included new digital advertising formats, "a unified mobile-advertising privacy management solution", a "mobile rewards and user engagement platform", and a Facebook application that rewards fans for promoting the things they love.
