The company, founded five years ago in Brooklyn, is now a booming enterprise, doubling in size every year and forecast to exceed sales of $300m in 2011. But this is no ordinary business, illustrated by the company's recent Hello Etsy conference in Berlin, billed as "a summit on small business and sustainability".
