WASHINGTON, Oct 24, 1984 – A joint presentation designed to inform the Commissioners and Staff members of the Federal Trade Commission on trends in the advertising business was made today by the American Association of Advertising Agencies, the American Advertising Federation and the Association of National Advertisers. The theme of the presentation: "Advertising in the Year 2000", was suggested by the Commission.
