SUMMARY
We set out to demonstrate and prove Starbucks’s role in the world by “sparking” big community actions: Giant Acts of “WE.” These sparks were designed to drive traffic into the store, demonstrate Starbucks’s role as a “hub of community” and reinforce the humanity of the company.
Rather than pretending not to be a big global corporation, we’d put that fact to use to facilitate community, but this time on a much bigger scale. To do good things that simply could not be done UNLESS you were big.
