Engaged Employees make for more successful businesses. One global study found businesses with highly engaged employees generated 17% greater annual revenue growth and 38% better earnings per share performance than those with less engaged employees.

Employee engagement has become an industry in itself, yet the vast majority of advertising's rationale – and consequently the research invested in its development, implementation and KPI tracking – is consumer focused. Relatively little exists to identify the contribution advertising and the other forms of consumer-orientated marketing make in assisting employee engagement.
