The global market research industry is performing ahead of expectations, according to figures released by ESOMAR ahead of next week's Congress.

Global Market Research 2007, to be officially released in Berlin, reports that:

  • Global market research turnover for 2006 is over US$24.6 billion – 6.8% up on 2005

  • There's stable growth in Europe of 5.0%, with Germany expanding at more than double the pace of France and the UK

  • North America witnessed healthy acceleration,...
