The Band-Aid brand of adhesive bandage was one of the first consumer products made by Johnson & Johnson. Invented by a cotton buyer with the company whose wife was frequently hurting herself in the kitchen, Band-Aid was launched in 1921 and became Johnson & Johnson's best-selling product.
