On the 4th July 1776 the American Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence, the document which unified the 13 colonies of America and sought their separation from Britain. During this period the new government adopted the motto “E Pluribus Unum”, or “out of many, one” to recognize the strength of the unified country (this motto is still present on the Great Seal of America used by the U.S. government)....
