Asian Americans in the United States present great consumer potential in varying market segments, according to Mintel's recent report on Asian American Lifestyles, April 2005. Teamed with higher educations, incomes, and interests in quality goods, Asian Americans have distinctive characteristics and should soon become key target audiences for expanding industries. Capitalizing on their desire for new and brand-labeled products, Asian Americans could prove to be a profitable segment if well researched and targeted appropriately.
