Tesco trades in 14 countries, with sales of £37 billion and growing. Tesco has invested £15 billion in buying, extending and building space and invested another £2 billion buying businesses.

Outstanding financial results have been recently published; but it took Tesco about 75 years to get to the first billion, whereas the second billion has come in the last four years. And the reason for that is very clear. It is a company with a very stable management team of directors who have stuck to their strategy.
