International advertising expenditure trends

One of the major logistical problems in pulling together international advertising expenditure data is the simple fact that different countries produce figures at different times. At the time of writing (October 1989) only eight out of the 16 European countries covered by the European Advertising and Media Forecast's data have so far reported figures for 1988, as Table 1 shows.
