Aspect Advertising have made a novel submission in the Small Budget category of the I.P.A. IPA Effectiveness Awards 1984. It tells how a sudden reduction in advertising budget for Grant's whisky stimulated the first "interactive" advertising of its kind. Results were precisely measurable and surpassed all expectations. Even goodwill was quantifiable. Grant's is a middle-market brand of scotch whisky from William Grant & Sons (Standfast) Ltd. Its status has been described as "acceptable but unremarkable"....
