For the past five years MORI has been monitoring the concern about environmental and associated matters not only of the public at large but also of specialist groups - leading industrialists, MPs and MEPS, journalists, and so on. The findings of these surveys, and more particularly their trends, suggest that they are something of which British businessmen should take cognisance before the implications burst upon them, more particularly since in such matters the balance of public opinion seems to trust Brussels considerably more than Westminster.
