Fitness Fanatics' Behaviours

This article summarises some of the key findings of research into the digital habits of 'fitness fanatics' presented in an infographic format, as well as a link to a full report by GlobalWebIndex.

Each year, GlobalWebIndex interviews over 220,000 internet users aged 16–64 across 34 markets to understand the online behaviours of digital consumers. During its Q1 2016 wave of research, it surveyed 6,319 ‘Fitness Fanatics’ – defined as those internet users who exercise more than four times a week and have a strong interest in health and fitness – to understand their media consumption habits, brand engagement, social media activities and online commerce behaviours.
