In Brent there are approximately 1,900 people living with dementia who have a right to be understood, treated with respect and have their needs met. It is therefore essential that everyone, from governments, local authorities and health boards to the local corner shop and hairdresser, share part of the responsibility for ensuring that people with they feel understood, valued and able to contribute to their community.
