Adstats: UK adspend forecast
Total UK adspend is predicted to rise by 4.2% this year, representing a downgrade of 1.3 percentage points since the pre-referendum forecast in April, according to the latest data from the Advertising Association/Warc UK Expenditure Report. Adspend is now expected to reach £20.9bn in 2016, compared to a total of £20.1bn recorded in 2015. Within this year's total, internet is expected to be the largest medium, with spend of £9.7bn, 38% of which will come from mobile ads.
