Mobile adspend among the nine largest markets reached $48bn in 2015. The US accounted for the majority, with spend of $21bn last year. US mobile adspend is expected to rise to $30bn this year, with 41% allocated to marketing across social platforms, and a further 40% dedicated to mobile search.
