Global Marketing Index, May 2016: Global Marketing Activity Grows Steadily in May

This article summarises the results of the Global Marketing Index (GMI) for May 2016, when global marketing activity grew steadily at the same rate as the previous month.
Growth occurred in all in all regions as trading conditions were also seen to improve, particularly in Europe. Overall, Global Marketing Budgets grew for the 39th consecutive month, however those for TV, Press, Radio and OOH recorded declines, while Digital and Mobile continued to grow strongly. The Staffing Levels Index, which reflects the number of staff taken on compared to the same period last year, fell slightly in May compared to its value the month before....
