Background

Vodafone created a product for first-time mobile phone users - prepaid SIM cards for pupils.

It was a product intended to bridge the barrier between parents and children and allow them to be easily connected. A starter kit was produced that included a prepaid SIM card, free credit as a gift, and free activation of the card.

All people had to do was to insert the SIM card into the device and activate it....
