While considered a top property and casualty insurance company, Nationwide is a tier 2 player in the life and annuities category, with lower brand awareness than big players like Fidelity or AXA. In fact, Nationwide Financial gets only the 5th highest consideration in this category. Perhaps as a result, some financial advisors (FAs) stop selling Nationwide funds -- most likely switching to other, more popular ones.
