Everybody talks about the weather, but nobody can do anything about it.

Except, of course, Walmart.

"Our merchants are constantly talking about weather," Stephen Quinn, evp/cmo at Walmart US, recalled. "It's always bad, by the way, and it's always impacting us negatively.

"So we sat down with a weather company," Quinn told a "CMO Roundtable: Marketing in the Digital Age" panel at the Association of National Advertisers' (ANA) 2014 "Masters of Marketing" conference in Orlando, Florida.
