The factors underlying what is called the 'sharing' or 'circular' economy are fascinating. Most of us clearly have too much stuff, as becomes abundantly clear when we move house. Dress agencies were early in recognising that most women's wardrobes were unnecessarily large, followed by the brilliance of eBay, made possible by the internet.
