Global Digital Statistics 2014: We Are Social's snapshot of key digital indicators

This presents detailed charted data of key social, digital and mobile statistics around the world. It shows that roughly 35% of the world's population uses the internet, 26% uses social networks and there is a 93% mobile device penetration.
Internet and mobile broadband penetration is still comparatively low in Africa, South and Central Asia. However, high mobile device ownership figures mean that mobile connections will account for the majority of internet growth in the coming year. Facebook remains the social network with the most active users, while social messaging apps such as QQ, WhatsApp and WeChat are demonstrating high growth.
