Global Marketing Index, June 2012: Marketers cut spend as global confidence deteriorates

Marketing budgets were scaled back in June according to Warc’s latest Global Marketing Index. The index shows a reading of 47.3, down three points from last month’s reading of 50.3. Confidence plummeted as the global economic recovery faced further risks due to the eurozone debt crisis and fears of a slowdown in China.
