Adstats: UK adspend forecast
Total UK adspend is predicted to rise by 5.6% in 2015 and 5.4% in 2016, according to the latest data from the Advertising Association/Warc Expenditure Report. This means that total adspend should exceed £20bn for the first time next year. Adspend totalled £18.6bn in 2014, following year-on-year growth of 5.8%. Within this, internet saw growth of 15.0%, supported by a significant increase for mobile (up 58.9% from 2013 to £1.6bn). By 2016, mobile is predicted to take a 35% share of total internet adspend.
