"When you talk about the internet of things (IoT), people say ‘oh yeah, the fridge that orders your milk'," according to Cameron Worth, founder of SharpEnd, the "agency of things". He was speaking to an audience assembled for the MMA Forum, an event held in London in June 2016.

"If we're talking about a world where everything can be connected," he went on, "and the best we can think of is a fridge that orders milk, then I'll be out of business."
