In 2012, instead of having a series of separate panel discussions around the topic of mobile marketing, the organisers of GMIC (Global Mobile Internet Conference) in Beijing joined up with the Taiwan Mobile Service and Media Association to offer a separate mini-conference for advertisers as a part of the overall GMIC program. Mobile AdWorld took up an afternoon presenting cases and examples of what were ostensibly the best mobile advertising campaigns in greater China over the past year.
